Hot Panda is headed back into the studio to record a follow up to "volcano...bloody volcano"

Today is the end of an era for us pandas. Sadly we had to part ways with
our bass player Keith Olsen who left for personal reasons. He will be
really truly missed by all of us.
However, today is also the start of a new era- Hot Panda is pleased, very
pleased, actually, to welcome Catherine Hiltz into the fold- a new Panda!
You may have seen Catherine playing trumpets with us at various shows
around Canada- well, now she's our bass player!
The future is wide open!

Hot Panda has been offered a chance to tour Europe with their friends the the Von Bondies as a result they've had to cancel dates a number of east coast dates in the U.S. and Canada (but they promise to get back to you as soon as they can!) Meanwhile if you're in Europe or the U.K. check out the updated tour dates!

The new album 'Volcano...Bloody
Volcano' officially hit the streets on Tuesday, Feb. 10 on Feb.
11 it debuted at #21 on the CMJ charts (the highest debut) and debuted
at #1 in Edmonton and Toronto college stations. You can read all of the

Hot Panda's first full length CD 'Volcano...Bloody Volcano' will
officially hit the airwaves on February 10 with a party to celebrate at
the Pawn Shop in
Edmonton on February 14 with the Whitsundays
and Rah Rah
there to help celebrate.
The Pandas are also hitting Canadian Music Week with a Chartattack showcase at the Horseshoe Tavern along with Handsome Furs on Friday the 13th of March.
There are plans in the works for South by South West (SXSW) and a gigantic tour of Canada and the U.S. check back soon for tour dates!
